Product Overview

The 40W Constant Power Emergency Backup Driver is a reliable backup solution for LED Linear High Bay Lights, providing up to 90 minutes of emergency power in case of outages. It supports 100-277V AC input and outputs 170V DC, with the capability to power LED light fixture under 25W or larger LED light fixtures (up to 320W)  with 0-10V dimming at 40W during emergencies.

It can evenly distribute to multiple fixtures when combined wattage does not exceed max load (320 Watts). 0-10V dimming capability is required for fixtures exceeding 40W.

The driver comes with certifications for UL 924, CSA C22.2, FCC, IP44, and CA Title 20 compliant (ECE), ensuring high-quality standards. Backed by a 5-year warranty, it offers durability and peace of mind for commercial and industrial settings.

Its integrated Li-Ion battery simplifies installation by eliminating the need for extra components. Ideal for various applications such as linear lights, low/mid bay lighting, recessed downlights, it’s easy to install and budget-friendly, making it a contractor favorite.

Luminaire Lumen Output Guideline During Emergency Operation:

To determine the lumen output during emergency operation, follow these steps:

  1. Fixture Efficacy: Check the luminaire's efficacy under normal AC operation, typically provided by the luminaire vendor.
  2. Lumen Calculation: Multiply the fixture’s lumens per watt (LM/W) by the rated emergency output power (40W for this driver).

Here are some suggested Konlite LED high bay lights from our collection and their performance during emergency operation:

    • Efficacy: 140 LM/W
    • Emergency Output: 40W x 140 LM/W = 5,600 lumens
    • Efficacy: 156 LM/W
    • Emergency Output: 40W x 156 LM/W = 6,240 lumens

    • Efficacy: 137 LM/W (5000K)
    • Emergency Output: 40W x 137 LM/W = 5,480 lumens
